At Tasman Audiology, we are committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and respectful audiology care for everyone.   • Elevator access (Hobart) and Ground level access (Launceston and Devonport) for easy entry

  • Disability-accessible toilet on-site (Hobart and Launceston)

  • Nearby parking spaces 

  • Spacious, quiet waiting areas

  • Dimmable lighting (Hobart)

 

Sensory & Neurodiverse Supports

  • Small fidget tools and sensory items available

  • Movement or other breaks available during appointments to reduce stress or fatigue

  • Clear communication about what to expect in the appointment, and support and flexibility throughout

 

Communication Supports

  • Use of captions, transcripts, or visual aids where needed

  • Written information provided for clients 

  • Email communication available when verbal or written consent is obtained (or implied when clients email us from their own address)

 

Our Ongoing Commitment

We continually review our practices to meet Tasmanian legal requirements under the Disability Rights, Inclusion and Safeguarding Act 2024 and the National Standards for Disability Services. We strive to ensure dignity, safety, and inclusion for all our clients.
